Message	Different tire manufacturers confuse the standard measurement as well. Look at section and tread width for each tire, and you'll start to see differences. Make sure to note what size wheel was used "measuring wheel" for the measurements. As a point-of-reference, my 295/35/18 BFG DRs are quite a bit wider (maybe 6-8mm) than the 295/30/18 Pirelli tires I did the test-fit with.
